We meet the second Wednesday of the month from September to June. Our meetings are held at St. Mary's Anglican Church, 2490 W. 37th Ave., at the corner of 37th and Larch. Hall opens at 6pm, meeting starts promptly at 7pm, and ends at 9pm. Guests are welcome (the first visit is free, guests are $5 after that -- or, better yet, become a member!). Bring
your own cup, plate, and fork for the coffee break, as we are a
"green" society, too.
Meetings usually include a program, show and tell (very inspiring and fun), a break for tea and snacks, a 50/50 draw, door prize, and the guild meeting. During the break and before the meeting there is time to look at the library, buy your precious 50/50 ticket, sign up for workshops, and talk talk talk.
Show and tell projects are a very
important part of every meeting. Our talented members are always happy to share their inspiration and construction techniques.
Please do not park on the street in front of
the church. This area is for church members only, and they need the space.
(Your car will be towed if you park there.) Parking on the other side of the street is o.k., and there is plenty of street parking in the surrounding blocks.
